Welcome to the Brussels Hand/Upper Limb Symposium !

The previous editions of the Brussels Hand/Upper Limb Symposium explored the innovative use of sonography in upper limb surgery and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Today, sonography is becoming an increasingly valuable tool in hand surgery, providing a dynamic understanding of pathology and biomechanics in real time. It allows us to assess structures in their natural environment, compare healthy and affected tissues, and observe the immediate effects of surgical interventions.

The third edition will explore how sonography can deepen our understanding of hand and upper limb biomechanics and pathophysiology, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.

The first day will combine theoretical lectures with hands-on sessions, while the second day will feature the symposium itself, with original presentations, expert discussions and opportunities for collaboration.

Two intense days

04 February - Introduction to the sonography where theoritical lectures will be separated by hands-on (limited number of active participants).

05 February - The symposium itself with original topics covering the thema of this edition.
